Defining
a new era of Extension
It's
a new world. Fifteen years ago,
who would have guessed that by now
we'd be warming our morning coffee
in the microwave, checking on our
children from the cell phone or
using an online banking service
to balance our checkbook? Two hundred
television channels? Synthetic fats?
Voice mail? E-mail? Whether we like
it or not, the world is changing
fast. Now each decision we make
has to be based on a solid foundation
- a foundation of facts, research
and up-to-the-minute expertise.
Our job here at Colorado State University
Extension is to help you build this
foundation, whether the subject
is consumer or family issues, agriculture
and natural resource management
or youth development. And because
we're Colorado's connection to the
latest in research and techniques,
we don't have to catch up with modern
technology - we've been here in
the forefront all along.
Programs are one way Colorado State
University Extension delivers the
goods. We also work with you one-on-one
as a resource center - a place where
you can get instant access to information
relevant to your problems, no matter
where you live or what you do. Got
questions? We've got answers. Simply
call 970-264-5931 and talk with
Bill, Pamela or Kim to get the facts.
