4-H SCHEDULE OF EVENTS

Location: CSU Extension Office
The 4-H Creative Cooks & Cake Decorating Contests were moved to
a date more convenient to participants. This event is still open to
the public however seating is limited. Please contact the Extension
Office at 264-5931 for more information.
Thursday, July 30th
" 8:00 - 11:00 am: Inside 4-H projects judged in the 4-H Stith
Room at the Extension Office, use the front door.
" 6:00 - 9:00 am: All animals must be brought in no later than
9:00 am. Livestock Superintendent Mark Crain will give stall assignments.
" Weigh-In at the Livestock Tent & Record Book Due. Weigh-in
begins at 10:00 am in the following order: Swine, Steer, Goat &
Lamb. No animals will be weighed after 11:30 am.
" 11:30 am - MANDATORY Livestock Meeting. All livestock members
(includes small animals) in livestock ring area. All livestock members
must remain in the Livestock Tent until the mandatory meeting is over.
" 1:00 pm - Market Turkey Showmanship in Livestock Tent
" 1:30 pm - Market Turkey Show in Livestock Tent
" 2:00 pm - Turkey's in Style (dress up contest) Livestock Tent
" 2:30 pm - 4-H Dog Obedience Trials in Livestock Tent
" 3:00 pm - Poultry Showmanship in the W.H.E.C.
" 3:30 pm - Poultry Judging in the W.H.E.C.
" 4:00 pm - 4-H Dog Agility in Livestock Tent
" 6:00 pm - Goat Shows (Draft, Dairy & Fiber) in Livestock
Tent. Immediately followed by the Market Goat Show.
Friday, July 31st
" 8:30 am - Rabbit Showmanship in the W.H.E.C.
" 8:00 am - Swine Show in Livestock Tent
" 10:00 am - Rabbit Judging Meet in the W.H.E.C.
" 11:30 am - Market Rabbit Judging
" 1:00 pm - Rabbit Show in the W.H.E.C.
" 5:00 pm - Steer Show in Livestock Tent
Saturday, August 1st
" 10:00 am - Market Lamb in Livestock Tent
" 10:30 am - Round Robin in Livestock Tent
" 4:00 - 6:30 pm: Chuck Wagon Dinner in Activity Tent
" 6:30 pm - Livestock Auction in Livestock Tent
Sunday, August 2nd
" 9:00 am - 1:00 pm: 4-H Livestock interviews in Livestock Tent.
Record books given back at this time. Record books will then be due
by noon, August 11th, 2008 for record book judging.
" MANDATORY CLEAN-UP following all interviews.
