WRAPPING BOXES FOR OPERATION HELPING HAND
It is that time of year when we start wrapping empty boxes for Operation Helping Hand. Archuleta County 4-H has supported Operation Helping Hand with their Thanksgiving and Christmas food boxes for many years. It takes the commitment of all our clubs to make this successful.
We never have to wrap as many boxes for Thanksgiving as we do for Christmas. Therefore, we are asking each club to wrap 20-25 boxes at their November club meeting. We will have plenty of paper, tape, scissors and boxes available at each club meeting. You will have time after your December meeting to complete the wrapping also.
I know Operation Helping Hand appreciates our contribution to their annual community projects. Whenever we have an opportunity to give back to the community it is important that we take the time. Thank you in advance for all your hard work on this project

RECYCLING
4-H Recycles! Cans no longer have to be crushed, so this task should not be difficult nor involve a lot of time. Clubs responsible should call the Uptown City Market before dropping off the cans for recycling and collection of money. Money and receipt should be turned into the office immediately after.
