Learning Experiences:

Objectives

• Acquire knowledge and an understanding of sound livestock production and management practices, and learn their use through the experiences of owning and caring for livestock and keeping enterprise records.
• Provide a business experience and an insight into ethical values and principles of purchasing, marketing, record keeping and financing, which will provide a basis to understand the essential factors for income development.
• Develop integrity, sportsmanship, cooperation, decision making ability and the capability to speak in public through participation in activities such as demonstrations, talks, judging events, tours and exhibits.
• Develop a clear understanding and appreciation of the livestock-meat industry and its role in the agricultural and commercial economy of the country.
